Why does YSI EXO2 turbidity sensor gives negative values in seawater?

Hi everybody I would like to ask why does YSI EXO2 turbidity sensor give negative values for turbidity (NTU) in seawater, even tho it's newly calibrated. Thank you so much in advance, Cheers
