What reason other than Burstein-Moss effect is responsible for increment of band gap after doping ?

I doped my semiconductor thin film. In lower dopant concentration there is a increase in band gap. But higher dopant concentration leads to reduction in Band gap.

How can I calculate thin film thickness by results of Grazing XRD?

I deposited SnS2 thin film by Spray pyrolysis method on Glass. Also, I have the results of UV-VIS (T and A) and Grazing XRD.
