Has anybody tried to precipitate HDL2 using dextran sulfate? Any idea why I don't get a precipitate (at all!) ?

I found many (old) protocols using dextran sulfate to precipitate HDL2 from the total HDL fraction. But when I apply these, there is absolutely no precipitate! Do you have any idea why? Would it...
