Is there any boundary limits for altering the pre exponential factor (tuning) in a reaction mechanism to match with the experimental results ?

I have prepared a reduced reaction mechanism for a fuel but to match with experimental results of ignition delay time,laminar flame speed ,I need to adjust the frequency factor 6 to 7 times...
