Please suggest the best method to convert heteroaryl carboxylic acid to respective hydrazide.

I have tried so far: 1. acid to methyl/ethyl ester then reflux with hydrazine in methanol/ethanol 2. ester + hydrazine in DMF 3. acid+ thionyl chloride/ POCl3 and Hydrazine hyd in one pot 4....
