How to maintain ionic strength, while doing NMR kinetics experiments using monoacidic buffers such as pyr in deuterium oxide?

Say pyridine/pyridinium (0.5 M) buffer system is used in an NMR experment in water-d2 medium and ionic strength is adjusted with NaCl to 1.0 M. How exactly this should be done?
