I need to prepare a PBS solution pH 7,2, to preserve nasal swabs after collecting nasal secretion. Can I use DEPC water instead of MiliQ?

137mM NaCl 3mM KCl 8mM NA2HPO4 15mM K2H2PO4 autoclaved MilliQ water (here I would change to DEPC).
