I have dry leaf powder of mash plants , i want to analyzed by FTIR what types of metabolites changes induced by drought stress in mash plant?

I want to test these leaf dry material with both dry as well as liquid method of FTIR. please i need guidence which solvent will be suitable to test it and how much amount of solvent is required...
