Is it possible a good protein extract (including extracellular factors) after intra-cardiac vascular washing with saline/PBS?

Searching for a good way to do, in mice, in parallel, half brain for histology (immersion in 4%PFA) and half brain for western/ELISA...Any help will be really appreciate.
