Is there any way to determine HOMO and LUMO energy of a semiconductor from UV-vis transmittance data please?

I'm looking for the simplest and quick way to determine HOMO and LUMO energy of a semiconductor without UPS spectroscopy. Any advise will be helpful please. Thank you
