Could thermophilic bacteria that have been preserved in glycerol solution at -80 C for a year loss their ability to grow at high temperature?

I have 5 thermophilic bacteria that had been preserved for a year in glycerol solution (15%) at -80 oC. I tried to grow the five isolates in LB broth, 50 oC, 150 rpm, but only 3 isolates grew...
