I poured the resolving gel for a western blot without pouring the stacking gel. I left the gel with DI water on top overnight at room temperature. Is it good to use today?

The gel runs nicely, all the bands are nice and clear. I guess something happens during the transfer... the ladder looks fine but the lanes look fuzzy. After developing the blot, it's hard to see...
