Please suggest any alternative to solve a problem regarding injection filtration step using a thick PEG precipitated virus solution?

For virus isolation from raw fruit samples, the solution after precipitating with Polyethylene Glycol 8000 is becoming very thick and so it is not being feasible to use it for injection filtration...
