What will be more suitable characterisation method for nano-structured bainite? EBSD or transmission kikuchi diffraction?

I've performed TKD for nano-structured bainite. Hence I used very low step size corresponding to 40 nm. But I wasn't able to achieve this step size since much information is missing from TKD scan....
