I am working with stromal cells that have been fixed- I am wondering if it is possible to do hoescht and nile red stains on them like I did with stromal cells in culture

After I have isolated and purified plasmid DNA, how can I confirm this? How can I confirm that I only have plasmid DNA and no genomic DNA?

I did a cesium chloride prep and I ended up with 12,000 ng/ul of DNA and Im worried this number is too high and may be indicative of genomic DNA contamination

How many times can i reheat a gelatin solution (solid at room temp, liquid when heated) before it starts to lose its gelatin properties?

I have a stock solution (100ml) of gelatin in HBSS with salt. I only need about 15ml at a time- so I'm wondering if I can reheat the bottle of gelatin, take out 15ml, let it cool again, and repeat...
