What exactly does a feature with the same name suffixed by _1 or _2 mean in an online XCMS output file ? e.g. M77T16_1 and M77T16_2?

M and T in a feature represents mz and retention time. However should features with same mz and retention time suffixed by 1 and 2 be treated as one or different?
