Do the AMV or M-MLV-RT (or derivatives) have any ligation or strand displacement activities?

Namely, what happens if a processing of RT enzyme meets the 5' end of a downstream primer (e.g. during a random hexamer RT)? Will the RT enzyme link the 5’ end of a hexamer to the growing cDNA strand?
