Can Agilent 1100 and Agilent 1200 series HPLC system components be used together?

In trying to set up an HPLC system we are using 1100 series (columncomp, IsoPump) and 1200 series (degasser, ALS, MWD, RID) components, but the software only recognizes the 1200 series components....
