I have F1 adult day-biting mosquitoes reared from females collected in a forest, but I'm struggling to get them to blood feed (my hand). Any ideas?

They're Aedine mosquitoes collected in Brazil.

Has anyone collected Simulium damnosum blackflies using traps (no human bait) in the last decade?

There's very little published in recent years. I'd be interested to know if anyone's collected S. damnosum s.l. in traps, even if you were trying to catch something else (Tsetse etc.). Thanks!
