Can I use Newborn Calf serum instead of FBS to culture rat smooth muscle cell line (both primary and ATCC), U937 and rat hypothalamus cell line?

I normally use FBS but mistakenly I have bought Newborn calf serum (NBCS). So I want to save it now as the FBS is expensive.
