In our century is not possible to think our world without Internet & as such for sometime back I have expressed my publication under the captioned '' Life Without Internet '' which I submit herewith for your kind perusal with a request to offer your valuable opinion .
It's not even easy to think. I think life in the world slows down. The adult generation (those who had lived without an internet their childhood, youth, and adulthood period) can easily adapt to the life without internet. But; it will be a very difficult process for the present youth. There will be big problems accessing to information and news, official procedures etc.
Then I wait for the Internet to start working again. I am used to it because every now and then the Internet stops working for a while. The problem would be if the Internet stopped working for a few hours only for a minimum of a few days. Then it would be a significant problem.
Thanks colleagues, Mr. Rohit, in some African countries, leaders may instruct to cut off internet during voting to block information dissemination to public.
Ok. I do not know what bordedom is (I confess, I have a dog).
But: for my research and entrepreneurial work, the invention of the information highway as a tool is a blessing. When travelling as a consultant, I can see a clear connection between societal quality and easy access to the internet.
Concerning our imagination, I am very skeptical about pre-fabricated information.
Have you ever thought that the energy that the Internet provides is finite. Someday this energy will disappear if new sources of energy from the sun are not invented and this must be well understood. In general, you need to understand one more thing. Now there are many irreversible phenomena that people do not pay any attention:
1. Bees and other useful insects disappear, but flies and cockroaches increase, and according to Einstein's prediction "If the bees disappear, humanity will live no more than four years".
2. The amount of plastic garbage in the seas and oceans will increase, leading to the death of fish and other useful marine animals for humans
This list could be continued, but for some reason people do not care at all.
In my opinion, nothing terrible will happen, because a person, like any living organism, has the ability to adapt to the environment. On the contrary, the absence of the Internet can be beneficial, because all possible information wars will disappear immediately. Yes, the discomfort will be the first time, but this discomfort will be replaced by other events, to which a person will quickly get used.
I first heard internet as a story in early 2000s, life was normal. But now if my country comes with a policy of terminating internet. It would mean heart attack.
Life without the Internet like a nightmare to most of us now. So what would happen if one morning, you woke up to find the Internet has no existence whatsoever in your life?
It would be heaven on earth. People would answer their phones. We would receive snail mail. Going to the library to do research. Writing manuscripts using a pen. Reading newspapers and books. Attending more conferences to find out what is new and meet colleagues, collaborators, and others. Not looking at a screen and replying on weekends and evenings.
Just thinking about it feels like a nightmare, the academic research took a huge loop forward and it's all thanks to the internet, sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas has become a lot easier, I remember how many times I found my self stuck with some advanced algorithms I tried to use, thanks to the internet there are many platforms where you can find programmers, mathematicians and statisticians ready to help, if there was no internet it would be impossible to finish my researches, today there are so many problems facing researchers, the far we go in research the more complicated it gets, questions are being raised every day and researchers are trying to catch up and provide answers, in this respect internet has really helped to share these questions among researchers and academicians all over the world.
Researchers can not access the subscription journals without paying the huge amounts of money. That means researchers can not acess new research immediately and without internet that gap will become more deeper and wider.
Dear Bruce Robin Nyamweha I use a portable internet network, sometimes I turn it off for three days, because I'm bored, so I go to the beach to look for a different atmosphere after that the new internet I turn on again. to start working actively again. but I admit my working life is supported by the internet, if the internet dies when needed, it is inconceivable. Regards.
