I've recently updated MS Word on my Mac. I now have version 2016, before I had 2011.
But the Mendeley plugin is gone and I've not had any luck trying to recover it. I've reinstalled it and it appears to be present in the "Add Ins" within Word (screenshot attached) - but where is the add citation/edit citation button in my new MS Word?
I've also attached a screenshot of my References tab - Mendeley us nowhere to be seen, or am I missing it?
You know, there are so many posts about problems with citation software that I believe it's best to just enter references manually. When you publish, journals apply their own citation software to your references anyway
Maybe my answer is too late and you've probably already solved your problem.
In Mendeley's "Tools" menu, select Install MS Word Plugin (you've already done this, but I want to make sure)
2.- In the "View" menu of Word, select "Toolbar". In this submenu select "Mendeley Toolbar".
3. Once you've done point 3, you can start using the Mendeley Toolbar at the top, with the "insert citation" options, etc.
Hi I'm trying to cite on Mendeley, For example, I have 4 authored paper, the citation format should be (1,2,3,and 4,2011). At first trial it was ok. I cited the same paper again it was like (1 et al,2011. Please help me how to solve this issue on Mendeley? Thanks in advance,
