Without distillation, is there any way to selectively remove a dicarboxylic acid from its mixture with monocarboxylic acid?

Basically the dicarboxylic acid is a product of reaction.

Have you considered solvent extraction? Methanol or ethanol may work, or acetone possibly. Just a thought.
