When controlling the PMSM motor using the FOC method, I would like to know the effect of direct axis and quadrature axis voltages on the motor's performance. how the motor's torque and speed would vary if we limit these voltages??

I do not want to implement field weakening. But instead, when my voltage is on the limit of the inverter max voltage, or slightly exceeding the inverter max voltage limit, I want to know which voltage I should limit to bring the voltage within the limits of the inverter.
