I have available a 2012 Honda Civic and want to start wiring in a mechanism to control the car through sensor inputs (using externally mounted stereo cameras, lidar and radar, but would be for vary basic test scenarios).
In this model there's available electric power steering and a driver-by-wire throttle so I should be able to control those particular servos with a MCU. Is anyone familiar with this particular make/model or know of diagrams of the previously mentioned systems?

I dont see how exterior cameras will work as sensor inputs...your venture seems to be quite interesting...please try explaining more.
