One of the laws that govern robots is that the robot should not make it's creator loose his/her job and make him/her unemployed. If this law holds good, it is to be remembered that along with the other laws, this law also defines the robot building. Robots cannot replace humans in all functions because they might be smart as humans, but not as wise as humans.

This will definitely happen. In the field of maritime industry (marine technology), which is also my specialty, robots have replaced many crew members involved in maritime operations. Of course, this applies to the advanced ports of the world (the port of Singapore or Port Rotterdam, etc.). In my opinion, the arrival of autonomous ships since 2020 would increase the dependence of maritime operations on robotics and artificial intelligence. But the fact must be accepted that, in many situations, the role of human is crucial and essential.

The current technological revolution, known as Industry 4.0, is determined by the development of the following technologies of advanced information processing: Big Data database technologies, cloud computing, machine learning, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, Business Intelligence and other advanced data mining technologies. How will the current technological revolution Industry 4.0 change the labor market in the next 20-30 years?

Some analyzes of the prospects for the development of labor markets suggest that due to the development of information technology Industry 4.0 in 2030, 70 percent. professions and workplaces will be new types of professions, specializations, etc. in the scope of work performed by people, whose names we do not know yet.

The above discussion inspired me to the following considerations:

Autonomous robots in the future will replace people in many different high risk occupations, physically challenging and healthier jobs. Increasingly perfect artificial intelligence will allow to expand the number and types of professions and difficult jobs, in which autonomous, more and more intelligent robots will be able to replace people. In the future, this list of difficult professions will also include works performed in high temperature conditions and drought due to the ongoing global warming process and replacing people during manned flights to other planets. However, artificial intelligence will never reach the level of human development in many psychological aspects, including having a self-awareness of one's existence, having different feelings, the need for improvement and self-fulfillment, creativity and artistry, etc. Therefore, autonomous intelligent robots probably do not substitute for human in all types of professions and jobs.
