e.g in our works we synthesized ZnS colloidal nanoparticles by chemical wet methods taking zinc sulphate and thiorea as starting materials and PVA(polyvinyl alcohol) as capping agent. To our great surprise the different types of nanostructures such as nanofilm. flower-like structure. nanowire were observed by TEM analyses.
Colliodal synthesis can be tricky.
It depends on the temperature and concentration of the ligands you use that sometimes shape control is not easy to achieve.
When we talk about nano structure fabrication there are no mathematical expression which govern the formation of nano structure no lab have facilities which has maintained all the necessary atmosphere which is suitable for reproduction of the same structure according to chemistry of point of when slit change of temperature and pressure entire thin film structure changed

Thank a lot for your answer . I am also agree with you that size of the nanoparticles depends on various physically parameters and conditions used during the synthesis. So a slight variation of those conditions result different types of nanostructures of nanoparticles.
Since materials in their nanosize scale have the same case that for nucleation in crystal growth, it is depends on the temperature, growth direction and pressure and besides the size in its nanoscale range.
