Basically waveguides like rectangular waveguides or circular waveguides are designed in such a way that they guide only one waveguide mode in the particular band. But of course they can be used above that particular band. Thus you can use data for a waveguide operating from 1 GHz and from its size you can calculate propagation parameters at any higher frequency.
