Why is that every particle behaves both as a wave and as a particle?

Dear Santosh,

The original idea of the wave-particle duality was from Louis de Broglie.

He conceived of electrons, for example, as very localized singularities that were "propelled", so to speak, by an underlying energy "wave" that he named a "pilot wave".

When correlated with the magnetic aspect of energy, a recent analysis seems to make obvious that what he describes as a pilot wave was in fact the momentum energy that defines the velocity of a localized electron in motion.
