I was simulating a vehicle to grid and grid to vehicle system using grid connected bidirectional power converter for charging and discharging of electric vehicle battery using MATLAB/Simulink ? While switching from "vehicle to grid mode" to "grid to vehicle mode" and vice versa, I found that there are spikes in grid frequency variation at that instant of switching.
Why there are spikes in grid frequency variation during switching of bidirectional grid connected power converter of "vehicle to grid" and "grid to vehicle" systems ? How to remove these spikes ?
I just want clue or suggestion or idea. I am not asking for an exact and complete answer to the question.

When you connect or switch the vehicle to the main grid, frequency peaks appear. However, reconnection is only possible if the frequency differences will be minimal. Without a synchronization loop, reconnection to the mains leads to frequency fluctuations. To avoid this, a resynchronization unit (e.g. with a PID-controlled active power controller) must be added, which allows the grid forming inverter to synchronize with the grid in a smooth way.

In a V2G & G2V setup, grid frequency spikes when switching bidirectional grid-connected power converters might be due to imperfect control strategies. If the control system isn't perfectly calibrated to handle the transition periods, abrupt changes in power output can occur, leading to frequency instabilities in the grid.
