In am using a UDF for heat flux that is dependent on temperature. If I am using constant temperature it is giving results. But using temperature function (F_T(f,t)) in code, fluent is crashing withot any error while initiation. I am attaching my code.
May be you are using the density based solver where the face macros doesn't work properly. Try writing your UDF in cell macros, instead of face macros.
I am using pressure based model and if am am using cell macros the same error persists.
I suggest: use header mem.h
Please start checking how F_T(f,t) is implemented in udf. for that a simplified udf with F_T(f,t) can be used for the temperature profile, just to verify.
Heat flux will be applied at the walls and you may be required to use near-wall cell thread (i.e. t0) instead of cell interior thread (i.e. in this case "thread").
