Hi,

I'm trying to synthesize pNIPAm hydrogel particles using a continuous feeding method according to the following literature.

Article Preparation of Monodisperse Poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) Micr...

Article Broadband Light Management with Thermochromic Hydrogel Micro...

At the end of feeding monomer solutions, the solution in the reaction vessel is very white like milk. I quenched it at low temperature, then it turns transparent. However, when I reheat it above LCST, it does not turn to a white milky solution, but instead, it becomes a little cloudy but still very transparent.

Has anyone encountered a similar problem before?

Thank you.
