I really don't understand, how management is status quo. Rather than planning, organizing, directing and controlling, management today has moved into a style of leading, empowering, assessing and partnering. Successful managers today are team leaders, who prudently use all the organizational resources and develop Human Capital for creating competitive advantage through innovation in product, process and technology. Every successful manager develops his / her own style of management as per the organizational requirement, creates conducive organizational culture and agility, in order to respond to the challenges of changing business environment.
