Aminofunctionalized mesoporous silicon-filled signaling molecules, such as rhodamine and glucose. Detection probes are then prepared by single-stranded DNA-capped mesoporous silicon. As described in many literatures, DNA-capped mesoporous silica can open the blocked pores upon the addition of complementary strands. However, the probe I prepared did not release the signaling molecule after the complementary strand was added. So I would like to ask, after the complementary strand added and the capped DNA strand are paired, will they be able to open the pore? Or there are some important conditions that are overlooked during the experiment? Sincerely hope that the professors who know the relevant knowledge will be able to answer the questions.
