Statistical means of calcium concentrations of river water samples, hyporheic water samples, and groundwater samples indicate that hyporheic samples have maximum calcium. What could be the reason for this?
The hyporheic water samples existed in an area or ecosystem beneath the bed of a river or stream that is saturated with water which supports invertebrate fauna to live, where their skeletal formed of calcium carbonate and after death the calcium returns to the hyporheic ecosystem.
