While a typical UV-visible spectrum of RGO has an increased absorption at~270 nm (Ref: Nature Nanotechnology, 2008, 3, 101-105) , in case of Diffuse Reflectance Spectrum of powder RGO, the absorption trend is totally different (Ref: J. Mater. Chem. A, 2014, 2, 535–544).
Spectra shown in figure.4 belong to graphene oxide not to reduced graphene oxide, while figure.5 shows DRS of graphene.The comparison based on such figures is not right.
R=the diffuse reflectance spectra are all saturated (showing a plateaux) and so can't be used for comparison.

Alshami Sir, the graph in figure 4 actually shows the evolution of RGO from GO upon reduction with hydrazine. RGO dispersion generally shows a peak at ~270 nm while GO shows signature peaks at ~230 nm and 300 nm
