Some lower order harmonics such as 13th, 15th, 17th are increasing after dead time compensation in both voltage and current. What is the reason for these? How to limit these frequencies in compensation? (In open loop)
With dead time few more harmonics are expected owing to the fact that during dead time inverter operation is not as per the control. Inverter output voltage waveform deviates slightly than the required one due to the dead time. We also can expect a slight decrease in the fundamental component as well.
Thank you for your answer. I did compensate the dead time effect by volt- second method. Lower frequencies upto 10th order were compensated effectively. But 11th, 13th, 15th order harmonics increased after compensation.
