I have been running into the occasional problem with my samples at the acetone precipitation step in which I get bubbles. This is after they sit in the -80C for 20 mins, followed by centrifugation at max speed (17,000 rcf) for 30 mins at 4C.

After these steps either after the -80C incubation or are removed from the centrifuge they bubble from the pellet, rising up to the surface.

Has this happened to anyone else before and if so, how have you avoided/fixed it?

Thank you in advance for anything you can provide!
