Why a capillary or a flat glass cell can utilize for ESR with solvents of high dielectric constant ???

Dear all,

Does anyone can tell me why as using a capillary or a flat glass cell, we could perform electron spin resonance (ESR) experiment with polar solvents of high dielectric constant, even a cylindrical ESR tubes are generally not possible?
