I looked into the available measurements of livelihood resilience, some use the indicator based approach to get an index which consists of livelihood capacities such as adaptive, absorptive and transformative while others apply both the direct and indirect ways of approaching livelihood resilience making livelihood resilience capacities five (adaptive, absorptive, transformative, anticipatory and mitigation). For example, RIMA-II requires panel data on the indicators to be used for resilience capacities. Hence, any approach to fit a cross sectional data collected among smallhodler farmers in the Ethiopian context.
