Nice you tested with Dilute HCL- so Non-Carbonate piece of rock. The image is unfortunately not sharp enough but it could possibly be a fossil Seed Fern. Do you have a few more specimens? It would be interesting to know the source of this specimen in Morocco.

Most probably it is Alethopteris that existed in carboniferous period.

Arvind and Hakima:

Affinity is more shown with Pecopteris (Tree Fern) of Post-Devonian age.

I don't have more specimens like this. With no reaction with HCL, perhaps the age could be a Post-Devonian. You have true It looks as a Fern fossil :Alethopteris or Pecopteris ? How can i guess?
