I am asking about the best types of resonant capacitors that used in inductive wireless power transfer systems. Also, if you know a good website to order the litz wires and capacitors for the same system, please let me know. Thank you
The type of the capacitor you can use is the high frequency capacitors. They have small losses at the high frequency in addition to high stability. Perhaps the most suitable type is the silver- Mica capacitors. For more information please see the link:http://www.gqrp.com/na5ndatasheet.pdf
Electrolytic capacitors are polarized and not suitable for your application as you need a non polarized capacitor. They may have also high polarization losses at high frequencies.
Try this for litz wires purchase: http://www.mwswire.com/
For capacitors, you can check Kemet, the SMD ceramic capacitors may be preferred for low ESR/ESL.
If your capacitor operates at changing temperature environments, you may want to use C0G type capacitor to avoid the capacitance drift with the temperature.
