For my master's thesis, I would like to check the temperature of the bonding areas of the wet wipes packages to determine the leaking areas. In this way, my actual goal is a developing the quality system for the package sealing that detect the defective packages and reject them from the production line.
So, I need an affordable thermal imager that I can get images and temperature datas like in the attached image. The attached image was taken with the Fluke TI 400, but I would like to use another camera because Fluke is really expensive and it is not possible to get images without using its own software.
On the other hand, I would like to get images or live video from the camera to MATLAB or Python interface directly. Then, I am going to wrote a thermal image processing software to detect incorrect packages. And software will send signal to PLC to reject defective packages. I have to do this whole procress as quickly as possible.
So, which thermal camera that I have to use? What are your suggestions?
