i'm not sure if i can use impression management theory and uses and gratification so the users use SNSs to express themselves and to manage their self representations

I guess their difference is related to the amount of the more being agent of presentation( or I in the language of Mead) and being more passive of representation ( or me in the language of Mead). because presentation is related to affecting on others but representation is more related to confirm a priori identity
