The data I have to incorporate in the stratigraphy section will include lithologies such as metamorphic rock (basement), granite (intrusive), shales of variable thickness and colors, Ages of each lithology, andesite and granite (extrusive), and unconformities.

You can use Rocwoark, or tec plot, or Voxile, or Surfer, or log plot
or draw manually using CorelDraw

Hello Almachius,
I use Rockworks to draw a stratigraphy section and then autocad to refine it. Rockworks is a good value for your money software for simple characterization.
