Antenna design in one software varies with result in another software. Also which one is better for mesh analysis.
For con-formal antenna, CST is better choice
HFSS is for planner surface

Hi, for better performance CST is the better option, in terms of designing the complex structure(antenna), ease of simulations CST is better choice.

Hello, Actually I am comparing simulation results in between Ansoft, CST and Agilent designing patch antenna of same parameters. However, There are some deviations in major KPIS. My query is which one is more reliable with respect to real time output analysis.
For micro-strip and planar antennas (printed antennas) you can prefer HFSS and CST.
For wire antennas FEKO is better...........
Dear for getting paper in good journal there may be comparision of HFSS & CST should be present because of the difference in the mathematical model behind the HFSS/CST.First you get the results from HFSS and try to compare it with CST.
CST is better with a lot more options and handling complex geometries. However, HFSS is quite light as compared to CST. Both of these have almost similar results for most of designs
For antenna parameters HFSS is quite good choice.In case of it's physical and equivalent circuit simulation please try another software, ADS
