Honestly, I don't want to suggest topics. However the following can be your guide.
1. The topic must be of great interest to you - which you have already specified.
2. Ensure the topic is researchable. You can determine this by identifying the dependent & independent variable in the topic.
3. Ensure you can source data in whatever means using a recognized organ e.g Your country statistical bulletin, World Bank Data Indicator etc
4. Once these questions are answered then you can formulate your topic.

My honest suggestion is to assess yourself by listing down your strengths and interest areas. Then carefully select the topic with highest strength and interest. I found this approach very useful in selecting my on areas of research. Simply getting a suggested topic without first weighing strengths and weaknesses can be counterproductive, at times.
