I have to prepare a compound for which the last step will be reduction of carbonyl group, but there are pyridine and isoquinoline moieties, and so I want to know, if there is any chemoselective reagent that can selectively reduce that carbonyl, without affecting anything else.

It could be worth considering transfer hydrogenation, via Meerwein-Ponndorf-Verley reduction. (http://www.organic-chemistry.org/namedreactions/meerwein-ponndorf-verley-reduction.shtm) This may offer the selectivity you're seeking; preferential coordination of catalytic Al(III) isopropoxide at the carbonyl oxygen would need to be tested. When it's appropriate, I personally like the easy-to-remove nature of the redox-participating components.

Yes, that is a way Ryan, but I actually need to make methylene from carbonyl, with MPV reaction I will again be stuck in OH group. Does hydride transfer reaction make any help? Anyway,
Ah, I missed that element of your requirement. Yes, MPV would be inadequate.
