If i want to control the impeller speed of DC pump then PWM principle is suitable for it. But in case of AC pump which method will be suitable and why?

2. In the past, the power of signal was amplified using the linear amplifiers for the actuation . Linear amplifiers re not energy efficient .
3. Rencent, the control signal amplofication is performed using switch mode amplifiers. These amplifiers are effient in terms of power efficiency though they produce some unwanted high frequency harmonics .
4. In this method the analog signal os converted to pwm signal. On mathematical sense the infomation in the analog signal has been converted to on width of a pusating signal of asuitable central frequency .
5. These signsl are good for switching amplifiers.
