Which is the most recommended growth medium to culture the maximum number of fish gut bacteria?

I am interested in isolating the maximum culture-able bacteria from the alimentary tract/gut of an some species of fishes and thinking about using NAM media or TSA media.

Please suggest me a growth medium by which I can culture and isolate different gut bacteria in fishes

Hi Aamir,

I will admit that I am somewhat new to bacterial cultures. I feel like the TSA media would probably serve well, but you might also find use in blood-heart infused agar (BHIA). The agar is pretty simple to make and should facilitate a wide breadth of bacteria.
